CATCH! a Juggling and Circus Festival in Cumbria

Hello!

I'm looking for people to fill roles at the convention. I've listed them below and if you are interested in doing these roles and helping out then email me at catchjugglingfestival2018@gmail.com

I've tried to describe them, but if you have done the role before then you will sort of already know the territory. It would be good it you have done the role before, but if not and you want experience at a larger event then don't be shy.

A lot of the main work is already done for each role and I'm happy to talk in a lot more detail about what you'd need to do via email if you like.
Please let people who do not have this wonderful jugglingedge know about this opportunity.

PS if you said you'd do a role at BJC a few years ago you can still do it. I'm just not holding anybody to that because 2 years is a long time and your plans may have changed.


Looking for:

Site manager:
Someone to help me with the day to day of the site. To be available for volunteers to ask for help and advice from.
As the BJC help website says it can be split into 4 areas:
-site planning
-site build
-site running
-site down

Planning is already done you arent going to have any role there, and you don't need to be there for the build as I've got a team of 6 people that are the build and take down "gang", they are run by me so nothing needs to be organised by you there, however if you would like to be a part of these activities then that is cool

So just the running, I'm of course involved too so we'd be like a super double act of working out stuff whilst the event happens.

Stage Manager
-the gala show is thursday and we need someone who can keep the light/sound people in check
-also telling acts when they are on for their rehearsal. a timetable has been done, we just need t stick to it!

Volunteer co-ordinator
-some experience required here as you deal with people
-making sure all the volunteer jobs are available for people to do, and are able to be done
