Considerado, já em sua primeira edição (2012), o maior festival circense da América Latina, o Festival Internacional de Circo do Rio de Janeiro chega à sua segunda edição, de 8 a 18 de maio de 2014, como o maior evento do seu gênero artístico.
Mais de 50 atrações nacionais e internacionais — que, juntas, reúnem aproximadamente 400 artistas — vão realizar cerca de 200 apresentações gratuitas, em mais de 60 locais espalhados por todas as regiões da cidade, entre os quais 46 favelas, para um público estimado em 250 mil espectadores.

Considerered to be the biggest circus festival in Latin America, The Festival Internacional de Circo de Rio Janeiro launches its second edition, from 8th to 18th May, as the greatest circus event.
About 200 performances will be presented for free by more than 50 national and international attractions, gathering approximately 400 artists in more than 60 locations in every neighborhood of the city, focusing mainly on 43 favelas. The performances will reach an estimated audience of 250 thousand people.
